Being an early riser is a good habit to start kicking in, for one, you have a jumpstart on the day by waking up before the rest of the world. This gives you plenty of time to start your day with a relaxing cup of tea or coffee. You are able to enjoy your morning with a good mindset, boosting you with a flow of energy. There are fewer distractions, you have clarity and silence to be able to focus on the important tasks that need to be accomplished. This allows you to read and send emails, helping to get those out of the way early which can help set the mood for you work day. Ok, so maybe getting up at 5am is not what you see yourself doing on January 1st but let this habit go into effect in January and you're golden for the rest of the year!

2. Write down your goal

With the age of technology, there are plenty of apps that allow you to put notes down on your calendar or check them off your digital list. While this is an awesome way to integrate your life with a single touch to your phone, nothing beats physically writing down your goals on a piece of paper like the good ole’ days. Writing down your goals can be a powerful statement because it forces you to commit to your goals. And if done every morning, can help install discipline, allowing you to actually work towards accomplishing your goals without feeling like its a task.

3. Organize your invoices

Wouldn’t you like a nice big gift for Christmas from your clients? Well, in order to get those invoices paid, you need to do a bit of leg work and send them out.
